An elixir here is an alcohol-free drink built from botanicals — steeped, blended, or whisked behind the bar while you sit. Matcha is whisked tableside. Kava is a drink made from the kava root, poured without alcohol, with tonics and pots of tea. You will find it on After Dark, Friday and Saturday until 11. It is still a hammock cafe, not a bar.
